Living Shamanism, Unveiling the Mystery
In Living Shamanism, Unveiling the Mystery, Julie Dollman invites the reader to look at Western Shamanism from a de-mystifying perspective in order for the reader to engage in the age-old practice of cleansing energy, healing human ailments, and practicing Shamanism from a daily and personal perspective.
It is well worth the read! From my experience (albeit from a different Shamanic perspective) she hits the salient points of practicing a personal Shamanism that delivers on its claims. This is an introductory treatise that has the potential to land the reader smack into the midst of a life-altering journey to wellness and vitality.
One of the means she uses is to pose questions in order to shift the reader’s thought process onto a new track. I’m convinced that if the reader were to approach each question and answer it with the intent to cleanse and heal themselves of their psychological, spiritual, and physical ailments their healing would take shape and move them into wholeness.
Dollman also provides multiple means of experiencing change that lead to such healing. One perspective that permeates the questions she poses, the activities she provides, and the story she shares is the axiom: “If you change nothing, nothing changes.” Sometimes the change we say we want isn’t far from where we’re at, we simply need to step onto the path and begin our healing journey.
Another means Dollman uses to share with her readers are those personal experiences that prompted her to make life-altering decisions to end one career in the public sector in order to begin a new career as a Shamanic practitioner.
Dear Reader, this is the level of change that living Shamanism can provide!
When practiced as presented, Living Shamanism, Unveiling the Mystery, will launch the reader through the doorway into a world that every human being is part of whether they know it or not, but walking the path with full awareness enriches our lives immeasurably.
